What do you LOVE to do?

Loving Louie Giglio’s ‘Passion + Purpose’ series (here is the link from iTunes podcasts: https://itunes.apple.com/za/podcast/whatever/id400379025?i=1000427338563&mt=2) and the fact that whatever puts fire in you belly, whatever is your passion - you can and must pursue wholeheartedly! As AW Tozer so excellently puts it - ‘it’s not the what but the why’ that determines your life’s purpose. “And whatever you do, whether in word or deed, do it all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through him” (Col 3.17). I love this because I love what I do! And ultimately it will bring glory to Him because the general ‘why’ is all about Him. We can relax from the endless cycle of questioning ‘am I in God’s will?’ ‘is this what I am supposed to be doing?’ blah blah and just go ahead and do what YOU LOVE TO DO!! Is this refreshing to you? I’d love to hear your thoughts!

How to approach 2019!!

never lose v2 print.jpg

I distinctly remember when I first saw this quote. I was standing with my daughter in a smelly stable - she had just competed in a dressage competition and it had NOT gone well. She was feeling so down and these words came at just the right time. They are especially meaningful given who first said them, the legend and leader Nelson Mandela, a man who endured through so much. Having spent 27 years in prison he knew a thing or two about perseverance!! I’m hoping this saying can be an encouragement for you this year to keep coming back to every time the wheels come off. Which, lets be honest - IS going to happen in some form or other during the course of this year. It is a wonderful mantra to remind us to celebrate the wins and learn from the falls.

Ps: You can download this Art Print (to print at home) and the calendar version for free in my shop this month. Go check it out!
