I distinctly remember when I first saw this quote. I was standing with my daughter in a smelly stable - she had just competed in a dressage competition and it had NOT gone well. She was feeling so down and these words came at just the right time. They are especially meaningful given who first said them, the legend and leader Nelson Mandela, a man who endured through so much. Having spent 27 years in prison he knew a thing or two about perseverance!! I’m hoping this saying can be an encouragement for you this year to keep coming back to every time the wheels come off. Which, lets be honest - IS going to happen in some form or other during the course of this year. It is a wonderful mantra to remind us to celebrate the wins and learn from the falls.
